CPC Safety Day in Novorossiysk

CPC Safety Day was held in Novorossiysk on 23 September. Representatives of all Expansion contractors took part in the event, which marks its fourth year and traditionally is very popular among the employees.
Opening  the event, General Director Nikolay Brunich thanked the staff for high HSE indicators of the Consortium. He noted that such strict compliance with the safety standards and regulations was due to daily personal example demonstrated by all construction parties, their consideration for each other.
–   After commissioning of the Expansion facilities we shall operate them with the same strict safety compliance, – assured Nikolay Brunich.
CPC Deputy General Director, Engineering and Projects William Simpson stressed that the Expansion parties generated the best safety practices for the entire construction industry of Russia, which would be necessarily applied at other major construction sites in the country.
Deputy Head of Novorossiysk Nataliya Mayorova said that safety, treated in CPC as the highest value, had favorable effect upon the city residents and cited specific examples:
– Thanks to the medical equipment procured by the Consortium, outfitting of Novorossiysk hospitals is not worse than that of regional ones. Specialized trolleybuses, provided to the city as a gift, make it possible for disabled persons, using wheelchairs, not to feel themselves as low-mobile handicapped people. Safety of schoolchildren was enhanced due to their familiarization with the road safety rules on specialized training equipment, which is also a CPC gift. And the kindergarten built in 2014 at the Consortium expense is ranked the first by the winter readiness and children safety support parameters.
By tradition, the Safety Day featured exciting events – safety, sports, agility and resourcefulness competitions, which demonstrated variety of skills and talents of the CPC Expansion parties.
