On June 23, 2017, CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban took part in a formal ceremony to present diplomas to university graduates at the Gubkin Oil & Gas University.
CPC CEO congratulated the university management and graduates on the auspicious event, highlighting its significance for the whole oil & gas industry in Russia. Nikolay Gorban described the university as “a talent foundry” training highly professional world-level specialists needed at all stages of the industry process, noting that the secret of the university’s success was that it was constantly developing while maintaining its best traditions and also the highest level of its professors and teachers.
As a reminder, Nikolay Gorban was elected to the Gubkin University Board of Trustees in April 2017. A cooperation agreement between CPC-R and the Gubkin Oil & Gas University was signed in 2015. It opened up broad opportunities both for the international company and the Russian university in terms of writing joint scientific publications, advanced vocational training, training courses and workshops at the university, student pre-degree apprenticeship and internship at CPC sites.
