CPC Helped to Enhance Training Comfort at Kalmykia Schools

Thanks to Caspian Pipeline Consortium, new PVC windows were installed in eight secondary schools of the Iki-Burulsky District of the Republic of Kalmykia. The project costing almost RUR 9 million was financed by the CPC charity funds and implemented on a turnkey basis, starting from dismantling of old blocks and ending with installation of drip strips, windowsills and restoration of jambs.
Upon completion of the above work, the schoolchildren got reliable protection against cold, noise, dust and drafts. New PVC windows comply with all sanitary and construction norms and GOSTs. The buildings have acquired modern look, higher economical and energy efficiency, the study rooms and classrooms have become more comfortable.
It may be recalled that in 2016 CPC implemented another major educational project in the Republic: furnishing of 14 schools and kindergartens in the Iki-Burulsky District with state-of-the-art fire safety and video surveillance facilities to the total amount of about RUR 5.4 million. The monitoring systems installed in the buildings provide continuous control over the premises and, of necessity, are ready to transmit automatically alarm signals to the fire service. The video surveillance systems help to maintain public order at the schools.
It should be added that the educational institutions of the District have already been recipients under the earlier implemented CPC charity programs on several occasions: minibuses, equipment and furniture were procured for them.
In 2017, the Consortium completed 11 social projects and programs to the total amount of RUR 84 million in the Republic of Kalmykia.
