CPC took part in the Russian Investment Forum

On 15-16 February 2018 CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban took part in the 2018 Russian Investment Forum. The Company’s head attended the plenary session, participated in several panel sessions under the forum’s business program, examined the exposition.
In the course of the event the CPC General Director had meetings with heads of the Russian regions crossed by the CPC pipeline system: Alexander Zhilkin, Governor of the Astrakhan region, Alexey Orlov, Head of the Republic of Kalmykia, Vladimir Vladimirov, Governor of the Stavropol Krai, and Igor Dyachenko, Mayor of Novorossiysk. The parties discussed cooperation on a wide range of issues, including large-scale charity programs being implemented with the Company’s financial support. 
As a remainder, the Caspian Pipeline Consortium has been a traditional participant of the Sochi Investment Forum. It is in this venue in the past years CPC signed cooperation agreements with Administrations of the Krasnodar Krai and Stavropol Krai, as well as the City of Novorossiysk.
The 2018 Russian Investment Forum was conducted in Sochi at the Olympic Park Main Media Center. The main theme of the event was Forming the Image of the Future. Over four thousand and a half participants - governors, experts, scientists, heads of Russian and foreign enterprises - discussed the regional policy, business activities outside the national capitals, enhancing living standards.

The CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects with foreign capital in the energy sector in the CIS. The length of the pipeline connecting oil fields in Western Kazakhstan with the Marine Terminal in Novorossiysk is 1,511 km. CPC’s Marine Terminal is equipped with Single Point Moorings that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, including bad weather conditions.
