CPC guarantees efficient and environmentally safe movement of crude oil

CPC hands over most advanced laser surgery system to Novorossiysk Hostpital no.1

On March 12, 2018 CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban and Mayor of Novorossiysk Igor Dyachenko handed over laser surgery system LAZURIT to city hospital no.1. The ceremony was attended by CPC-R Deputy General Director Mikhail Grikhankov, Deputy Mayor of Novorossiysk Natalia Mayorova, Hospital Chief Executive Elena Massalova, and other officials. 
CPC allocated RUR 7.4 million for procurement of this laser surgery system which is the most advanced equipment using the latest advances and modern  health technologies. The equipment will help to increase the opportunities of the doctors in treatment of complex urologic diseases.
– There is no doubt that the experience, skills, and professional qualifications of the doctors are of key importance, but XXI century healthcare is impossible without moder equipment, which in a master hand turns into a perfect life and health saving tool, – said CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban when handing over the system.
Supporting medical centers is one of the priorities under CPC-R social policy. For more than ten years Company provides charity support to Novorossiysk healthcare facilities in purchasing expensive medical equipment.
In the last five years alone there was purchased modern equipment amounting to about RUR 70 million for various healthcare centers of Novorossiysk. This equipment enabled wide use of new surgical treatment methods in traumatology, surgery, including neurological surgery, and urology. 
It is also to be recalled that CPC-R allocated more than RUR 45 million to renovate  Novorossiysk Municipal Polyclinic no.2 which reopened at the end of 2017.

CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects in the energy industry with participation of foreign capital on the CIS territory. The length of the pipeline connecting the oil fields in Western Kazakhstan with the Marine Terminal near Novorossiysk is 1,511 km. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with single point moorings which allow for safe tanker lifting at a considerable distance from the shore, also when the weather conditions are unfavorable.
