The Top Managers of CPC, KazTransOil and KazMunaiGaz Discussed their Cooperation Prospects

On April 4, 2018, CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban was on a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan where he had a meeting with Dimash Dosanov, KazTransOil General Director, and Nurtas Shmanov, NK KazMunaiGaz Senior Vice President, Oil Transportation. The meeting was also attended by Dennis Fahy, First Deputy CPC General Director,  and Kairgeldy Kabyldin, Deputy CPC General Director, Government Relations, Republic of Kazakhstan.
The parties discussed a wide range of matters related to their prospective cooperation and liaison development in various areas, including KTO’s participation in supporting stable operation of Tengiz-Novorossiysk Pipeline in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also sharing best practices in the sphere of crude oil transportation.
These companies have cooperated efficiently with each other since commencement of the CPC operations in 2001. E.g., to provide for shippers’ access to the CPC pipeline, KazTransOil put into operation additional facilities at its Atyrau Pump Station, which are used to transship to the CPC system the hydrocarbons delivered by Uzen-Atyrau, Kenkiyak-Atyrau and Martyshi-Atyrau pipelines and by the railways.
For reference:
CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects in the energy industry with participation of foreign capital on the CIS territory.
