CPC to Talented Children

The first tour of the traditional CPC to Talented Children competition has started. In 2018, the competition is joined by children’s amateur creative teams and performers from local districts crossed by the CPC oil pipeline in the Astrakhan Region, the Krasnodar and Stavropol Krais, the Republic of Kalmykia and  Novorossiysk.
The first tour of the competition is conducted on the Internet until May 31, 2018. Its nominations include: Instrumental Music, Folk Instrument Performers, Folk Vocal, Academic Vocal, Folk Dance, Pop Dance, Modern Dance, Classical Dance and others.
Winners of the first absentia stage will go through to the second regional tour of the competition to take place in September-October 2018 in Astrakhan, Elista, Stavropol, Krasnodar and Novorossiysk, respectively. Semi-finalists ending best in their nominations  will go to the competition final which will take place in Moscow on October 26-30, 2018.   
The CPC to Talented Children Festival incepted almost twenty years ago contributes to preservation of distinctive folk traditions and culture, helping young talents to develop and  acquire new skills in master classes with prominent teachers. Each year the festival discovers new bright little stars who go on to represent their regions with distinction in All-Russia and international creative competitions.

CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects in the energy industry with participation of foreign capital on the CIS territory. The length of the pipeline connecting the oil fields in Western Kazakhstan with the Marine Terminal near Novorossiysk is 1,511 km. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with single point moorings which allow for safe tanker lifting at a considerable distance from the shore, also when the weather conditions are unfavorable.
