Kuban Cultural Center Opens in Novorossiysk after Refurbishment

On 5 June 2018 in Novorossiysk, CPC Deputy General Director Mikhail Grishankov and city mayor Igor Dyachenko inaugurated after refurbishment the Kuban Cultural Center.
CPC allocated almost RUR 48 million for the implementation of this project within the framework of social partnership with the Novorossiysk City Administration. Out of the above amount, more than RUR 6 million were intended for the procurement  of furniture, implements, musical and other equipment.
The refurbishment project of the Cultural Center built in 1960 provided  not only for its renovation, but also for the increase of the building area up to 700 m² by two annexes. One annex accommodates new premises for children’s creative groups, the second – change rooms for dance companies. Now children can have classes on special comfortable dance flooring. The main building has had its chairs replaced with new comfortable ones for 160 persons and a new nice stage erected.  Summer bandstand has been arranged for 250 spectators. The territory of the institution has been landscaped with new footpaths, additional vegetation and perimeter fencing.
After refurbishment, the Cultural Center building meets all safety requirements to the facilities of such category and norms of accessibility for disabled persons.
It should be noted that in summer this year construction of two more facilities will be completed in Novorossiysk: Pobeda Archery Center and Children’s Tennis Center. CPC allocated for these projects about RUR 14 and 35 million respectively.
In 2017 under its social obligations CPC implemented in Novorossiysk a number of charity projects, including refurbishment of City Polyclinic No. 2, supply of hi-tech medical equipment for municipal health institutions, procurement of school and city buses, as well as traditional programs – CPC for First-Grade Pupils and New Year/Christmas Holidays with CPC, to the total amount of about RUR 115 million.
