CPC guarantees efficient and environmentally safe movement of crude oil

The Project is designed to increase the trunk pipeline capacity

Volumes Loaded at CPC Marine Terminal in July

In July 2018, CPC-R loaded 5,158,620 gross tons (40,769,326 barrels) of crude oil at the CPC-R Marine Terminal, which is 692,975 tons more year-on-year.
Out of the 5,158,620 tons lifted, 2,515,889 tons of crude oil were from Tengiz field, 877,939 tons - from Karachaganak field, 1,155,545 tons - from Kashagan field and 173,048 tons - from other producers. In July, the Russian Shippers exported 436,199 gross tons of crude through the CPC-R pipeline system.

323 tankers have been loaded since the beginning of this year through August 1, 2018, with 47 tankers loaded in July.

As a reminder, in March 2018, the CPC Marine Terminal hit the record monthly loading. Crude oil shipment volume reached 5,506,294 tons (43,609,021 barrels), which is almost 6% higher than the previous record of December 2017 when the monthly loading at the CPC Marine Terminal was 5,196,229 tons.
From 2001 through July 31, 2018, 557,031,097 net tons of crude oil were delivered to the world markets by the Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline system. 484,574,486 tons of that amount of crude oil come from Kazakhstani Shippers and 72,456,611 tons of “black gold” were produced in Russia.
FYI:
The CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects with foreign capital in the energy sector in the CIS. Length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk Pipeline is 1,511 km; it transports over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
