CPC guarantees efficient and environmentally safe movement of crude oil

CPC purchased an excavator for the village of Glebovskoye

20080809-2-1.jpgOn August 9, 2018, during a solemn ceremony Deputy General Director Mikhail Grishankov and Mayor of Novorossiysk Igor Dyachenko handed over an excavator to Glebovo Rural District being a part of the municipality of Novorossiysk City-Hero. The event was also attended by the head of Novorossiysk District Vasily Chumak and the head of Glebovo Rural District Elena Kuchera.

The new one-bucket excavator EO-2202.1, purchased for CPC charity funds, has replenished the fleet of specialized vehicles of this village. This model is irreplaceable for various excavation, landscaping, improvement operations and proper upkeep of public areas. The excavator can be used for emergency response and maintenance at heating mains, for gas and water pipeline laying.

CPC is going to continue supplying special vehicles to the road services of Glebovo Rural District, thus, replenishing its fleet.

For almost two decades CPC has been implementing various charity programs in Novorossiysk region. The aid exceeding 700 million rubles has been granted to the municipality since 2001. In 2018, CPC allocated about 200 million rubles for social projects in the sphere of education, health, culture and sports.

CPC pipeline system is one of the largest investment projects in the energy industry with participation of foreign capital on the CIS territory. The length of the pipeline connecting the oil fields in Western Kazakhstan with the Marine Terminal near Novorossiysk is 1,511 km. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with single point moorings which allow for safe tanker lifting at a considerable distance from the shore, also when the weather conditions are unfavorable.

The Expansion Project includes rehabilitation of 5 existing and construction of 10 additional pump stations (2 in the Republic of Kazakhstan and 8 in the Russian Federation), six new storage tanks (100,000 cu.m each) in addition to the existing four near Novorossiysk and a third SPM at the CPC Marine Terminal, and also the replacement of an 88 km pipeline section in Kazakhstan with a larger diameter pipe. The total amount of the Project investments will be US$ 5.4 billion.
