CPC to First Graders

Caspian Pipeline Consortium continues to fund "CPC to first-graders" charitable aid program.  In 2018 this tradition saw its nineth birthday.
Almost 10.5 thousand first-graders in the regions traversed by the CPC pipeline are to receive gifts from the international consortium – school bags with sets of all necessary student supplies. The gifts were issued to the kids on the eve of the beginning of the school year, and in some regions the gifts will be given at the New School Year Opening ceremonies. As the tradition goes the CPC sponsored ceremonies are attended by the heads of subjects of the Russian Federation, relevant ministries and municipal authorities, and CPC regional representatives.
This year, as part of “CPC to first – graders” program school bags with school supplies were given to 2,229 childred in Republic of Kalmykia, 2,495 children in Astrakhan Oblast and 1,340 and 4,400 first-graders in Stavropol Krai and Krasnodar Krai accordingly.
CPC gifts are provided to the children from the low-income and large families, orphanages, correctional schools, as well as handicapped kids. This year Consortium earmarked about RUR 27.3 million “CPC to first – graders” charitable program.
