The results of the second round of the competition “CPC to Talented Children” were summarized in Kalmykia

The second round of “CPC to Talented Children”, the children and youth creativity competition, was held in the Republic of Kalmykia on September 19, 2018. The culminating gala concert held in the Meeting Hall of the Republic’s Government was attended by Region Head Alexey Orlov, Igor Storozhenko, CPC-R General Manager, Public and Authorities Relations, Nikolay Mantsayev, Minister of Education and Science, Galina Badayeva, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism, and other officials.
- The competition initiated by the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, not just unites and supports talented and active young people, gives them an opportunity of disclosing their creative potential but also contributes to strengthening of friendly relationship. I strongly believe that your success in this competition will become a shining example of hard work and tenacity of purpose to the younger generation of our Republic and as for you, boys and girls, it will become yet another important stage on your way onwards and upwards, - emphasized in his speech Alexey Orlov, Head of the Republic of Kalmykia.
Just before the gala concert, the winners of the Regional round took part in master classes arranged by famous art community members, Honored Artists of Russia, laureates of various international competitions.
Elena Scheglova, Professor, Department of academic chorus conducting, State Musical Teachers Institute named after M. Ippolitov-Ivanov, Victor Shershnev, Choreographer Director, Russian North State Dance Company and Chuvashia State Dance Company, Expert Choreographer, Department of Culture, city of Moscow, Roman Kalkayev, Drama Teacher, Department of General Stage Management, Russian University of Theater Arts (GITIS), Member of the Commission of the Union of Theater Professionals of the Russian Federation on community theaters, film and theatre actor, Pavel Ukhanov, Professor, the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music, shared their know-how with the young talents.
In the course of the ceremony, commemorative diplomas and awards were handed over to the distinguished participants and laureates of the competition. The winners in their nominations, participants of the first and second rounds of CPC to Talented Children competition received Certificates for a trip to Moscow where master classes for the laureates and the culminating gala concert will be held on October 26-30,2018.  
The festival "CPC to Talented Children", which was launched almost two decades ago, is intended to promote and preserve folk traditions and culture, it gives opportunity to bring the young talents to light and acquire new skills during master classes with well-known teachers. Each year the festival discovers bright new “stars”, who then become worthy representatives of their regions at the All-Russia and international creativity competitions.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major investment projects in energy sector with participation of foreign capital in the CIS. Length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km; it transports over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including the Caspian Region.
