2018 CPC to Gifted Children Festival Came to a Close in Moscow

The final gala concert of CPC to Gifted Children Festival took place in Russian Song Moscow theatre on October 29, 2018. 250 children and youngsters - the winners and laureates of regional stages of creative tender of the artistic contest - participated in the concert. The bright performance became the final accord of the festival of young artistic talents from the Russian regions where the Caspian Pipeline Consortium facilities are located. 
As a reminder: CPC to talented children festival was launched almost twenty years ago and today it covers all territories in Russia where the Consortium in present: Narimanovsky, Enotaevsky, Krasnoyarsky, Limansky, Kharabalinsky Districts of Astrakhan Oblast; Chernozemelsky, Iki-Burulsky Districts and Elista in the Republic of Kalmykia; Izobilnensky, Ipatovsky, Apanasenkovsky, Trunovsky, Turkmensky, Novoaleksandrovsky Districts in Stavropol Krai; Krymsky, Abinsky, Dinskoy, Ust-Labinsky, Tbilissky, Kavkazsky, Krasnoarmeysky, Korenovsky Districts and Novorossiysk in Krasnodar Krai. In 2018, over 1.5 thousand pieces of creative work were received for the competition, and in total about 6,000 persons representing about 150 children art institutions from almost 100 settlements participated in the festival.
The expanded format of the function became an important innovation of 2018: alongside with the competition program the festival obtained an educational function, as well. Master classes were arranged in all regions conducted for the young talents and their teachers by the teaching staff from higher discipline educational establishments of Russia. Trip to Moscow became an important event to the children where, besides the arts classes, the festival winners had the opportunity of getting acquianted with the capital’s main places of interest, which added new vivid impressions to the participants.
The participants’ performance was judged by distinguished judges consisting of well-known members of creative community, honored artists of Russia, teachers, laureates of various international competitions. Among them were Instructors of the Moscow State Conservatory named after P. Tchaikovsky, Russian Academy of Music named after the Gnesins, Russian Institute of Theatrical Art (GITIS), Theater Institute named after Shchukin, State Musical and Pedagogical Institute named after Ippolitov-Ivanov, and representatives of other leading Russian creative teams.
The CPC to Talented Children festival contributes to preserving the originality of folk traditions and culture, gives the chance to young talents to reveal themselves and to acquire new skills during master classes with well-known teachers. Each year the festival discovers bright new “stars”, who then honorably represent their region at All-Russia's and international creativity competitions.
