CPC guarantees efficient and environmentally safe movement of crude oil

CPC’s present to Kalmykia elementary school children

On January 17, 2019, there was a ceremony of opening an elementary school building of Secondary school No.2 of Artezian rural village, Chernozemelskiy District of Kalmykia Republic. The ribbon at the opening was cut by Nikolay Gorban, CPC General Director, Alexey Orlov, Head of the Republic of Kalmykia, Nikolay Mantsaev, Minister for Education and Science of the Republic of Kalmykia, and other officials.
This important social facility was built to replace the old troubled one, at the expense of the Consortium’s contributions under an Agreement for Cooperation between CPC-R and the Government of the Republic of Kalmykia. The total cost of the project (including engineering, construction, equipment and furniture) is 61, 2 million rubles.
Modern modular structures were used for the construction of 1497m2 two-story building. The elementary school building has 11 classrooms, school hall, and 80-places cafeteria. The classrooms include choreography room, Kalmyk and foreign languages rooms, playing rooms, and medical room. The building has wheelchair ramp and accessible lavatories to receive people with limited mobility.
The building is equipped with modern HVAC system, security and fire alarm systems, video surveillance system, independent high-power boiler house, etc.
At the ceremony, CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban presented district administration representatives with the letters of gratitude for active cooperation in the implementation of CPC-R charity program, and the contractor’s representatives with the letters of recognition for professional approach to work performance. Overall, in 2018, CPC contributed more than 250 million rubles to charity and social infrastructure development projects in the Republic of Kalmykia.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major investment projects in energy sector with participation of foreign capital in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk Pipeline is 1,511 km; it transports over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
