In 2019 the CPC to Talented Children festival will celebrate its anniversary

2019 will see 20th anniversary of the CPC to Talented Children festival. Launched exactly two decades ago, now the competition of children amateur group and solo performers covers all the regions of Russia where the Consortium is present. Starting from this year the event becomes international in character due to participation of gifted children from Kazakhstan.   
The festival jury consisting of well-known people of art, merited artists of Russia, pedagogues, winners of various international competitions has already started to accept applications for participation in the first stage of competition which will last until 20 February. It should be noted, however, that the first in absentia stage of the competition is traditionally held on the web.  The nominations include Instrumental Music, Traditional Instrument Performance, Traditional Singing, Classical Art Singing, Traditional Dance, Concert Dance, Contemporary Dance, Classical Dance, Theater, etc. In the first third of March 2019 the jury will select the most skillful performers to participate in stages 1 and 2.
Stage 2 will be held in regional centers from 5 April to 30 September 2019. It is expected that 1,400 to 2,000 young talents and their pedagogues will take part in stage 2. The festival participants will take part in an extended program of master classes held by famous musicians, pedagogues and actors who will hold in-person debriefings of performances and give professional recommendations. Stage 2 will be ended with gala concerts.
Stage 3 of the festival shall be held in the form of the Unifying Cultural Forum in Moscow scheduled for 26 – 30 October 2019.  Competition winners from the Krasnodar Krai, Stavropol Krai, Republic of Kalmykia, Astrakhan Region, city of Novorossiysk shall participate in the forum. Young talents from Kazakhstan shall perform in Moscow for the first time.  The agenda envisages that competitors will perform at various stages, teachers of appropriate higher educational institutions of Russia will hold master classes. The ceremony of awarding the winners and prizetakers of CPC to Talented Children 2019 festival will be held at the colorful final gala concert.    
In 2018, approximately 6,000 persons representing about 150 children crafts institutions from almost 100 local communities participated in the festival.     
The CPC to Talented Children festival is aimed at preservation of folk traditions and culture, support of distinctive character and creative manner of different regions, providing young talents with opportunities to fulfill their artistic potential, acquire new skills in the course of master classes held by world class professionals.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major investment projects in energy sector with participation of foreign capital in the CIS.
