CPC receives Grand Prix of “Health and Safety- -2018” Contest

During the current All-Russian Health and Safety Week in Sochi the results of All-Russian contest "Health and Safety-2018” for the best solution in providing safe working conditions were announced on April 24, 2019.
CPC received the Grand Prix of the Contest for up-to-date approach and outstanding safety performance.
General Director of Caspian Pipeline Consortium noted: “CPC believes human health is more crucial than any performance indicators, this is an absolute priority for any up-to-date successful company. The best results and the maximum performance indicators could be equally achieved through responsible attitude both to corporate performance and to humane resources. Incidents and Injuries Free program introduced in Consortium is not something abstractive, it is based on specific regulations. Our example proves that safety culture could and must be shaped.”
The Head of the Company also pointed out: “Zero Injuries” is our major goal. This is our clear message that inspires the staff to take an effort beyond the limits of their material interests which naturally reveal their personal qualities that we usually call leadership. Leadership and personal example are the drivers for shaping the well-informed Incidents and Injuries-Free Culture”.
Beyond this, Mr. Hans-Horst Konkolewsky, representative of International Social Security Association, awarded CPC with a partner’s certificate under "Vision Zero” program. The partners of this program demonstrate a progressive approach in injuries prevention that combines three disciplines - safety, occupational health and employees well-being throughout all business levels.
Please be reminded that in 2018 CPC won All-Russia Contest “Health and Safety 2017” and took the first prize in the nomination "Methodology for monitoring and assurance of safe working conditions” for its innovative project “Shaping the Concept of Incidents and Injuries Free Culture”.
