Results of the CPC to Gifted Children Festival in Astrakhan Oblast

Round Two of the 2019 CPC to Gifted Children is continuing. Stavropol Krai and Kalmykia were followed by Astrakhan Oblast. On 29 April 2019, the Festival Awards Ceremony at the Astrakhan State  Philharmonic Hall was followed by a gala concert given by young performers.
Among the participants of the event were Igor Storozhenko, CPC-R General Manager, Public and Authorities Relations, Elena Medvedeva, Аcting Deputy Minister of culture and tourism of Astrakhan Oblast and other officials.
Before the gala concert, winners of the regional round and their teachers took a three-day course in master classes arranged by famous arts professionals, Honored Artists of Russia, laureates of various international competitions. Classes were given by Inna Kozhikhova, senior teacher at the Variety Jazz Singing Chair of the Moscow State Humanitarian University, Leonid Lundstrem, Senior Lecturer, Chair of Bowed String Instruments, Moscow State Institute of Music named after A. Shnitke,  Maria Voskresenksaya, Piano Teacher, Chair of Orchestral Folk Instruments, State Institute of Music Teachers named after M. Ippolitov-Ivanov, Imo Elswizy, Choreographer, Teacher at international and Russian dance schools (Italy, Egypt).
For reference: this year, 2.2 thousand children participated in the competition in Astrakhan Oblast. Young talents represented nearly 80 culture and education establishments from approximately 40 towns and settlements. Besides certificates of commendation and commemorative prizes, 50 prize-winners of the Festival were awarded travel vouchers to Moscow where they will take part in the master classes in relevant nominations and in the final gala concert.
The CPC to Gifted Children Festival is a show of children’s amateur companies and individual performers that was first held twenty years ago and now covers all RF territories of CPC presence.
Participants of Round Three of the Festival – Uniting Cultural Forum scheduled for October 26-30, 2019 in Moscow will be 250 winners of the regional rounds. Here they will be joined by the winners of the CPC to Gifted Children Festival, Kazakhstan where this competition is held for the first time.
The CPC to Gifted Children Festival contributes to preserving the originality of folk traditions and culture, gives the chance to young talents to reveal themselves and to acquire new skills during master classes with well-known teachers. Each year the Festival discovers bright new “stars”, who then honorably represent their region at All-Russia's and international creativity competitions.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major investment projects in energy sector with participation of foreign capital in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk Pipeline is 1,511 km; it transports over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including the Caspian Region.
