CPC guarantees efficient and environmentally safe movement of crude oil

CPC and Republic of Kalmykia officials discussed the status of charity projects implementation

A task meeting between Mikhail Grishankov, CPC Deputy General Director, and Batu Khasikov, Acting Head of Republic of Kalmykia was held in Kalmykia Government House on May 16, 2019. The meeting was timed to coincide with signing of the charity agreement to donate eleven PAZ buses for public transportation infrastructure of Elista.
Batu Khasikov noted that this agreement was of high social significance for Elista population. Under this agreement, CPC will donate nine PAZ-320402-05 buses and two PAZ-320435-04 «Vector Next» to municipal budgetary institution Elista Avtodor. The purpose of Vector Next bus equipped with a ramp for wheel chairs is to transport people with reduced mobility.
Adding these buses to the municipal fleet will allow to improve transportation between remote locations and Elista, reduce time between trips and create more comfortable conditions for the passengers. Transportation will be provided at the rates established by the municipal authorities.
The Consortium allocates over 34 million rubles for purchase of these buses. This will be the biggest CPC charity project in the Republic of Kalmykia in 2019. 
During the meeting, Batu Khasikov and Mikhail Grishankov discussed schedule of charity projects and programs in 2019 as well as mid-term perspectives to improve the social infrastructure of the Republic in such top priority areas as health care, education, culture, children sports and ecology.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major investment projects in energy sector with participation of foreign capital in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk Pipeline is 1,511 km; it transports over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
