Caspian Pipeline Consortium presented sporting equipment for the Nadezhda children’s center in Novorossiysk

27 May 2019 Mikhail Grishankov, Caspian Pipeline Consortium-R Deputy General Director, RF Government Relations, Sergey Altukhov, Deputy Chairman of Krasnodar Krai Legislative Assembly and Igor Dyachenko, Mayor of Novorossiysk, inaugurated the new building of Nadezhda Children’s recreation and educational sports center.
At Novorossiysk administrative authorities request CPC allocated 18,3 Million Rubles for this important social project implementation including RUR 1.8 mln For design engineering Additional 16,5 million rubles of charity funds were allocated by the Consortium to purchase all necessary sporting equipment and accessories.
The new sports center featuring roomy and light halls to practice acrobatics and artistic gymnastics, fitted out to meet all the requirements set by international sporting federations, has become the first of its kind specialized center in town. CPC Deputy General Director Mikhail Grishankov stated at inauguration event, the new center commissioned will improve sports skills of its students and it will also provide opportunity of conducting sports competitions in these activities in the hero-city of the krai and all Russia scale. Young citizens of Novorossiysk will have now more access to attending these sports events.
Novorossiysk Mayor Igor Dyachenko noted the ‘Nadezhda’ sports center will accommodate up to 120 students at a time or 600 school students a day. City mayor has added the new center will facilitate broader children and youth coverage who practice sports activities on demand given the fact that the sports center is located in the densely populated area of Novorossiysk with ca. 50 thousand residents living there.
For two decades now CPC, being a socially-responsible company, has been implementing various charity programs and projects in Novorossiysk area. Charity worth of hundreds of millions Rubles has been provided to the Municipality since 2001. In 2018 alone, CPC allocated about 211 million Rubles to social projects in the field of education, health care, culture and sports. The new facilities commissioned recently include a Children Tennis Center and Pobeda Archery Center.  
CPC and Novorossiysk administration continue active cooperation in 2019. Under this cooperation the international Consortium delivered to Glebovsky rural district, a part of the hero city municipality, the new special vehicles worth over 20 million rubles.
Another charity project for CPC was to purchase up to date medical equipment worth in excess of 24 million Rubles for City polyclinic # 2 and City hospital # 1.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major investment projects in energy sector with participation of foreign capital in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk Pipeline is 1,511 km; it transports over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
