CPC and Siemens Signed a Contract for Gas Turbine Maintenance and Spares Supply

A contract for gas turbine maintenance and spares supply between CPC and Siemens was signed in CPC Moscow Office on July 03, 2019. CPC General Director Nikolai Gorban, President, Siemens in Russia Alexander Liberov and President, Siemens in Kazakhstan Audris Barcevicius affixed their signatures to the document.

The contract for gas turbine maintenance and spares supply is for five years and it continues the cooperation started in 2004. The Siemens equipment supplied under the earlier executed contracts in the course of CPC System construction and Expansion Project implementation is in operation at CPC crude transportation facilities in Astrakhan Oblast, Republic of Kalmykia and Krasnodar Krai as well as in Kazakhstan.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major investment projects in energy sector with participation of foreign capital in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk Pipeline is 1,511 km; it transports over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
