1.4 Thousand Stavropol Krai First Grade Schoolchildren Received Gifts From CPC

During the period of August 19-22, 2019, in six districts of Stavropol Krai, within the framework of the traditional charity program “CPC to First-Grade Schoolchildren”, the Caspian Pipeline Consortium employees participated in a ceremony to hand over schoolbags with a complete set of school accessories to schoolchildren. Representatives of the Krai Government and Duma and District Administration Heads also joined the functions coinciding with the beginning of a new school year.   
Acquisition of sets of school accessories and their handing over to the first-graders living in the districts crossed by the trunk crude pipeline is the Consortium's multi-year tradition. This year, 210 first-graders in Apanasenkovsky District, 250 in Izobilnensky District, 250 in Ipatovsky District 216 in Novoalexandrovsky District, 223 in Trunovsky District and 225 in Turkmensky District received schoolbags. In total, CPC purchased schoolbags with accessories for the total amount of about four million Rubles for almost 1.4 thousand first-grade schoolchildren of six districts in Stavropol Krai.
Rigid-frame schoolbags are complete with felt pens, sets of color pencils, rulers, triangular rulers, copybooks, scissors, pens, drawing books, watercolors, sets of brushes, folders, covers for copybooks and textbooks, etc.
During the ceremony just before the Day of Knowledge, the representatives of CPC, Krai Government and Duma congratulated the children and their parents on the forthcoming holiday and wished them achievements in their studies.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major investment projects in energy sector with participation of foreign capital in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk Pipeline is 1,511 km; it transports over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
