School Buses for Children of Novorossiysk Rural Areas

On 29 August 2019, the ceremony of transfer of special school buses for Novorossiysk rural areas took place in Abrau-Durso. The keys to new vehicles were handed over to their drivers in a festive atmosphere by Mikhail Grishankov, CPC Deputy General Director, RF Government Relations, and Igor Dyachenko, Mayor of the Hero-City.
Caspian Pipeline Consortium allocated RUR 15.2 million for the purchase of three buses. Two buses will be used by public school No. 30 in Abrau-Durso and one will transport schoolchildren of public school No. 24 in the village of Raevskaya.
IVECO Neman-420238-511 school buses purchased by CPC have 30 seats (for 29 schoolchildren + one accompanying person). Soft seats are equipped with 4-point safety belts and folding armrests, as well as compartments for school bags. The buses are equipped with a reliable independent Eberspacher Hydronic liquid engine heater, more powerful than standard air conditioning 15.5 kW with TM21 compressor, tinted passenger windows for protection on sunny and hot days.
The buses are made on the IVECO DAILY 70C17 chassis, which fully meets the conditions of the countryside nearby Novorossiysk with its steep rises and turns, and at the same time provides sufficient comfort for transportation of children between villages and schools in compliance with all safety requirements.
At the ceremony of hand-over of bus keys it was noted that the new buses will improve the quality of transportation of young village residents and enable them to participate in various district and regional events, academic competitions; children will be able to travel more often on excursions, to museums and theaters.
Also, on the same day in the village of Glebovskoye, which is part of the municipality of Novorossiysk, the Caspian Pipeline Consortium employees participated in a ceremony to hand over schoolbags to first-graders. The ceremony was attended by the Deputy head of Novorossiysk Natalia Mayorova. Just this year, as part of the traditional charity program "CPC-first graders" schoolbags with a full set of school supplies received 980 first-graders of Novorossiysk.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major investment projects in energy sector with participation of foreign capital in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk Pipeline is 1,511 km; it transports over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
