CPC guarantees efficient and environmentally safe movement of crude oil

CPC’s new contribution to the Astrakhan Region’s social infrastructure

On September 8, 2020, in Astrakhan, Caspian Pipeline Consortium delivered seven school buses to establishments of the Ministry of Social Development and Labor of the Astrakhan Region. The ceremony was attended by the  CPC Deputy General Director Mikhail Grishankov and the Astrakhan Region Government Igor Babushkin.
The modern buses were made available to the region’s state organizations bringing up and providing medical and social help to orphan children and children who find themselves in a tough life situation. To purchase the seven Ford Transit buses, CPC-R allocated RUR 20.3 mln. The comfortable special vehicles are designed to carry 22 people. The business are equipped with a Russian state emergency response system in case of accidents called ERA-GLONASS, an air conditioner   , orange flash lights on the roof, a tachograph, and other equipment.
At the bus-deliver ceremony, it was stated that the special vehicles would be used to transport children from remote districts of the region to medical establishments, as well as to venues of different recreation and cultural events.
On the same day, an official ceremony was held to hand over artificial lung-ventilation machines, Lufter 5, for the total value of RUR 18 mln. As is known, this medical equipment is very much in demand in the environment of fighting the COVID-19 pandemics and is intended for use in intensive care and resuscitation departments.
It is worth noting that CPC has allocated RUR 114.5 for social programs in the Astrakhan Region in 2020.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major investment projects in energy sector with participation of foreign capital in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz–Novorossiysk Pipeline is 1,511 km; it transports over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian oil fields, including the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
