CPC again among corporate charity leaders

CPC’s charitable activities has received high appraisal from the jury of the all-Russia Corporate Charity Leaders - 2020 competition. An award ceremony was held for competition award winners this year at the Russian Federation Public Chamber on 17 December.
The international consortium was awarded a special diploma in the nomination “The best program/project aimed to support culture and art”. The Russian Ministry of Culture provided support to the competition’s organizers in evaluating projects submitted in the nomination.
The jury appreciated the CPC to Talented Children festival conducted by the company. This is a charity program whose history extends back over 20 years, aimed at developing children and youth creativity, popularize various kinds of arts among children, identify and support young talents. It was first started in 1999 in order to preserve original cultural traditions in regions hosting CPC’s industrial facilities.
Nowadays, the festival is held for four age groups (up to 8, 9-11, 12-14, 15-18 years old) in the creative nominations “Folk Instrument Performers, Instrumental Music, Folk Singing, Pop Singing, Classical Singing, Choreography (folk dancing, modern dancing, pop dancing), Classical Dancing, Theater. Its participants are creatively talented children from the Republic of Kalmykia, Astrakhan Region, the Stavropol and Krasnodar Regions.
One of the program's important components is master classes for the children and their teachers with Russia’s famous stage stars, singing, music, and dancing teachers. Their creative and teaching secrets are shared with the festival’s participants by teachers from this country’s leading specialist higher education institutions: The Gnesins Russian Musical Academy, the Shnitke Moscow State Music Institute, The Ippolitov-Ivanov State Musical & Pedagogical Institute, the Chaikovsky Moscow State Music Conservatory, the GITIS Russian Teatrical Art Institute, and others.
The project has been dynamically developing: just in the last 3 years, the number of participants has more than doubled - from 6,000 to 13,000 people, with new modern forms of creative communication springing up, including social networks. Thus, the 2020 competition award winners have an opportunity to participate in the CPC New Year Marathon arranged in Instagram and TikTok.
