CPC Sums Up the Results of Neftegaz-2021 Exhibition

20210429-1.jpgThe 20th International Exhibition “Equipment and Technologies for Oil and Gas Industries” - Neftegaz-2021 - came to an end on 29 April 2021 in Moscow on the Expocentr Fairgrounds. Over the four days of the exhibition, it was attended by over 12,000 visitors, over 400 participating companies from two dozen countries presented their products and technologies.

The Caspian Pipeline Consortium, which presented in its booth the information on its operation activities and achievements in occupational health, industrial safety and environmental protection (HSE), appreciates the quality of the organization and conduction of the main Russian oil and gas industry show. As part of the exhibition platform and the National Oil and Gas Forum that took place on the Expocentr territory, CPC Officers had a number of meetings with the Shareholders’, partners’ and contractors’ representatives, got acquainted with the current industry trends and technical solutions.

20210429-2.jpgCPC Management visited Transneft’s exposition and a number of booths of manufacturers and suppliers of the equipment operated at the Consortium’s facilities, such as Siemens, Oil and Gas Systems (OGS), TREM Engineering. Innovations and refinements offered currently by manufacturing plants were reviewed, possible long-term cooperation was discussed.

Specifically, fruitful contacts took place between CPC Management and Sintech company, which is one of the participants of the CPC-implemented program to increase the CPC pipeline system throughput capacity as a sole system integrator for upgrade of local control systems. Sintech also carries out design work for the Consortium facilities anti-terrorist protection program.

Both representatives of oil and gas companies and firms manufacturing specialized equipment, and specialists of the downstream industries, scientists, students from the industry-specific educational establishments, mass media correspondents and editors visited the Consortium’s booth.

The CPC Pipeline System is one of CIS largest energy investment projects that involves foreign capital. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route moves over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil along with crude from Russian fields including those in the Caspian region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM), allowing tankers to be loaded safely at significant distance offshore, including in poor weather conditions
