Demanded medical equipment for the Kurmangazy Regional Hospital

20210518-1.jpgOn May 17, 2021, CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban and Deputy Akim of Atyrau Oblast Kayrat Bekenov handed over the newest CT system to the Kurmangazy district hospital.

CPC-K allocated 360 million tenge for the purchase of the scanner. The apparatus produced by Japanese Hitachi (SUPRIA model) allows scanning 128 slices and diagnosing the whole body. The IntelliEC algorithm of intelligent dose redistribution and the modern IntelliIP iteration method are used here to reduce the radiation exposure, making it possible to perform the study with very low dose values without any loss of imaging quality.

At the ceremony, it was emphasized that upgrading the hospital's equipment is of great importance for all residents of the district, which is 500 kilometers away from the regional center. It should be noted that during the Covid-19 pandemic, this medical institution was temporarily converted to an infectious disease hospital, and the new equipment will be in great demand for diagnosing purposes and for patients with a severe form of coronavirus infection.
