This year CPC presented its comprehensive program Safe Work Culture, following introduction of which the Consortium entered Top-25 Best Companies according to International Oil and Gas Producers Association (IOGP) in 2020.

CPC representatives took part in the plenary session “Innovative company solutions in the context of the last years’ challenges to maintain health of its personnel” and exchanged their leading practices with colleagues in the framework of practical discussions. Managers of major companies discussed various occupational health practices, COVID-19 activities and other topics.

Company purchased ambulances for hospitals, stationary and portable lung ventilators, tomography scanners, photofluorographs, bedside monitors and other necessary medical equipment, protective clothing for medical staff, allocated additional funds to extend rotational work periods, opened own observation facilities. Consortium allocated 286 Million Rub in 2020 alone for support of medical institutions in the areas crossed by the oil pipeline. These efforts were highly praised by Tatiana Golikova, RF Deputy Prime Minister.

Tatiana Golikova, RF Deputy Prime Minister and Anton Kotyakov, RF Labor and Social Protection Minister, visited CPC exhibition stand and talked to its managers and ordinary staff members.

In the framework of practical discussions at the Occupational Health and Safety Week, CPC representatives shared with their colleagues their achievements in Safe Work Culture. One of the key goals is to build direct dialog of management with personnel at all levels, building an atmosphere of openness and trust in safety issues. 2021 saw Caspian Pipeline Consortium successfully pass certification for compliance with international standard ISO 45001:2018. At the same time, CPC arranged an independent assessment of Safe Work Culture, which identified new possibilities for its development in order to reach a new level.

In December 2020 CPC launched a new corporate program “Leaders of Safe Work Culture Development”. Its participants (Consortium and contractor personnel) become work safety leaders in their departments and share their knowledge with others as mentors.

As a reminder, CPC received Grand Prix of All-Russian contest "Health and Safety– -2018” for the best solution in providing safe working conditions. In 2018 CPC won All-Russia Contest “Health and Safety – 2017”, taking the first prize in the nomination "Methodology for monitoring and assurance of safe working conditions” for its innovative project “Shaping the Concept of Incidents and Injuries Free Culture”.
