On 12 January 2023, General Director Nikolay
Gorban met with the Consortium’s Central Region team in CPC Office in
Astrakhan.The participants of the meeting discussed the
Region’s performance indicators in 2022 and plans for 2023. Further enhancement
of the Safety Culture level was one of the key topics. Some results of
introduction of the new corporate Safety Culture Leadership standard aimed at
prevention of accident and incidents at the operation facilities and provision
of accident-free operation of CPC pipeline system in February 2022 were summed
up.
General Director particularly noted the
coordinated actions of the Region's maintenance service and participants of the
Debottlenecking Program during all construction operations at the brown field
facilities.
From 2018 to 202, the Central Region’s team and
Contractors’ representatives worked over 3 mln man-hours without lost-time
injuries. The mileage of large vehicles and cars during the same period without
MVAs reached almost 1.4 million kilometers.

CPC Pipeline
System is one of the major investment projects with foreign capital in energy
sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511
km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as
well as crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region.
CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that
allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor
weather conditions.
