SPIEF-2023: Business Meeting of CPC and Mari El Republic Heads

20230615-1.jpgOn 15 June 2023, at the XXVI St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2023), a business meeting between Nikolay Gorban, General Director of Caspian Pipeline Consortium, and Yury Zaitsev, Head and Chairman of the Government of Mari El Republic, was held.

The parties discussed the prospects of cooperation between CPC and industrial enterprises in Mari El where the major centers of machine and instrument building, metalworking, and automation production are located.

As a reminder: CPC is actively solving the problems of import substitution and searching for alternative manufacturers for foreign-made equipment, the supplies of which have been threatened or completely stopped in the current conditions.

The CPC Pipeline System is one of CIS largest energy investment projects that involves foreign capital. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route moves over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil along with crude from Russian fields including those in the Caspian region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM), allowing tankers to be loaded safely at significant distance offshore, including in poor weather conditions
