The Beauty
and Mysteries of Nature exhibition arranged as part of CPC Project Protect
Nature of Our Native Land was opened on 21 June 2023 in the National Museum
named after N. Palmov in Elista, the capital of the Republic of Kalmykia.Dedicated
to the unique ecology of the steppe region, rare plants and animals that need
protection, the Beauty and Mysteries of Nature exhibition is becoming a good
annual tradition. This summer the exposition is expanded: in addition to works
by world-renowned photographers, such as Garya Lidzhiev, Victor Tyaht, Pyotr
Vorotnikov, Evgeny Polonsky, Svetlana Ivanenko, Valery Maseikin, paintings and
graphics by young artists, laureates of the creative contest "Let’s Save
the Planet Together" are presented here. On June 10, the children made a
trip to the Lonely Poplar Nature Monument. The best works created during this
plein air were included in the the Beauty and Mysteries of Nature Exhibition.
Guests of the exhibition were also shown a film "Boundless Beauty" with
details of the life of animals and birds that live in the steppes and
semi-deserts of the Republic.

Caspian
Pipeline Consortium has been implementing the Protect Nature of Our Native Land
Environmental Awareness project for already ten years. Plenty has been done
during this time (for example, the saiga population has multiplied and moved
from the threat of extinction to the stage of migration), but the project
organizers and participants are not going to stop and rest on their laurels.
Every year, the Directorate of Protected Areas and the Blackland Reserve
receive substantial support. Open lessons, creative contests, and other events
are also regularly held, aimed primarily at the younger generation in order to
raise environmental awareness and develop responsibility for the ecology of
native territories. The Beauty and Mysteries of Nature Exhibition has become
another such regular event as part of the eco-project.
For information:

investment projects with foreign capital in energy sector in the CIS. The
length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route transports
over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian
oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is
equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers
safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
