CPC Invites Audience to the II Festival "Novorossiysk Chimes"

On August 19, 2023, Novorossiysk's Forum Square will host the second open-air classical music festival "Novorossiysk Chimes". The cultural event is supported by the Caspian Pipeline Consortium and is conducted in cooperation with the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Black Sea Symphony Orchestra".

The event was first held in Novorossiysk in 2022 with great success. Then, more than two hundred musicians, singers and young dancers took part in the four-hour marathon concert. They represented about 50 orchestral, opera and ballet numbers.

During the gala concert on August 19, the full Black Sea Symphony Orchestra under the baton of maestro Konstantin Milyoshkin and young conductor Alexei Pugachyov will perform in front of the audience. Moscow violinists Sergei Pospelov and Tatiana Breslavskaya, accordionist Maxim Fyodorov, opera singers Tatiana Yeremina and Kirill Chursin will be the soloists. The festival program includes about fifty works, most of which will be performed in the hero-city for the first time.

We are pleased to invite all Novorossiysk citizens and guests of the city to Forum Square at 19:00. Entrance is free.

You can also become a spectator of the largest cultural event in the city remotely. For music lovers, there will be an online broadcast at the link: https://xn--80ajkahlddfeberepc7c0b4lh.xn--p1ai/

As a reminder: In 2022, CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban and Novorossiysk Mayor Andrey Kravchenko executed a Cooperation Agreement between the Consortium and the Municipality. The sphere of culture is one of the most important areas of long-term cooperation.

In 2018, CPC earned the honorary Arts Patron of the Year Award of the RF Ministry of Culture for the reconstruction of the Kuban Culture Center in Novorossiysk. In 2021, CPC purchased acoustic, lighting and video equipment, prefabricated stage complexes and bleachers for the Marine Cultural Center municipal autonomous institution. At the same time, the municipal budgetary institution "Palace of Children and Youth Creativity named after N.I. Sipyagin" received a large-format LED screen and the Kuban Culture Center received a stationary projector for the auditorium.  In 2022, over two thousand young Novorossiysk citizens from 15 Municipality communities participated in the traditional CPC For Talented Children festival.
