On 7 September 2023, in
Elista, Caspian Pipeline Consortium handed over a comfortable bus to the Kalmyk
State Philharmonic named after A.N. Mandzhiev for use in touring
activities. Batu Khasikov, Head of the
Republic of Kalmykia, and Mikhail Grishankov, Deputy General Director, RF
Government Relations, CPC-R, handed the keys to the performance group.

53 passenger seats of increased comfort with individual USB ports is equipped
with cruise control, tachograph, air conditioning and lighting systems of the
latest generation. The cabin is equipped with audio-video equipment with two
monitors and a hands-free system. The bus cost is almost 13 million
rubles.
At the handing ceremony,
it was pointed out that today in Russia the unity of cultural space is being
strengthened, which means that the role of touring activities of performance
groups is increasing. The Kalmyk State Philharmonic named after A.N. Mandzhiev
annually participates in five major international and all-Russia festivals.
That is why, CPC present allowing for transportation of not artists alone but
also technical staff, scenery and props, has become a significant contribution
to the preservation, development and popularization of the cultural heritage of
the Kalmyk people.
On the same day, CPC
donated 14 wheelchairs, partially equipped with electrical devices, to the
Republican Adaptive Sports School. The total cost of the acquired property
amounted to 2.7 million rubles. Thanks to modern equipment, the school's
students - athletes with locomotor disabilities - get new opportunities for
self-realization through various types of adaptive sports - boccia, arm wrestling,
archery, etc. Purchase of comfortable wheelchairs designed for sports will
enable students to lead an active lifestyle and improve their mobility when
traveling to other cities.
CPC has already allocated
over 90 million rubles in 2023 towards implementation of charity projects in
the Republic of Kalmykia. The interaction between the Regional
Administration and the Consortium is carried out under the Cooperation
Agreement. In accordance with the document, CPC provides support to a number of
socially important spheres of the Republic’s life - health care, education,
culture, children’s sports, and renders targeted aid to the most vulnerable
population.
