20230914.jpgThe 11th CPC Safety Day came to an end in Astrakhan on 13 September 2023. The jury appreciated the professionalism of all teams participating in the event, specifically noting their real commitment to achieving high health, safety and environmental goals.

It is also important that the participants of the Safety Day who returned to their labor teams will share their new bright and memorable experience with their colleagues. Valuable gifts and prizes were a pleasant addition to the acquired knowledge. CPC Western Region’s team took the main "Sarmatians Gold" in the competition among the subdivisions of the International Pipeline Consortium. It succeeded in beating CPC DBN combined team.

CPC Eastern Region team rounded out the top three.

In the standings among contractors and partner companies, the Master-Service team won. In a hard-fought battle, it managed to beat SMU-6 team. The jury awarded the third prize to three teams at once. "The Sarmatians Bronze” went to the representatives of PROMEXPERT, VELESSTROY and STARSTROY.

The CPC Pipeline System is one of CIS largest energy investment projects that involves foreign capital. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route moves over two thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil along with crude from Russian fields including those in the Caspian region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM), allowing tankers to be loaded safely at significant distance offshore, including in poor weather conditions
