On
4 December 2023, a final gala concert of 2023 CPC to Talented Children, the
International Children and Youth Creativity Contest, was held on the stage of
the State Theater “Russkaya Pesnya” in Moscow. This year the festival
celebrated its 25th anniversary.
The
2023 CPC to Talented Children contest included four stages: two preliminaries
(held remotely), the third was a full-time regional stage and the fourth was
the International Uniting Cultural Forum - "Moscow Meets Friends".
The winners and laureates of the regional stages of contest from Astrakhan
Oblast, Republic of Kalmykia, Stavropol Krai and Krasnodar Krai participated in
the final stage. They were joined by the laureates of the Jas Tolqyn contest
from four Oblasts of the Republic of Kazakhstan: Atyrau, Western Kazakhstan,
Mangistau and Aktyuba. In total, about 300 persons took part in the Cultural
Forum in Moscow.
The
gala concert was based on a theatrical and musical show "Mysterious
Island", staged according to an original script with elements of Russian
folk tales. The roles were traditionally
played by the winners of the contest and their tutors, members of the jury -
experts of the contest and actors from Moscow theaters. The adventures of the
characters were watched in the auditorium by managers and employees of Caspian
Pipeline Consortium, representatives of the Shareholder Companies, deputies of
the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Legislative
Assemblies of the host regions. The participants of the Cultural Forum were
welcomed by CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban, Gilyana Boskhomdzhieva,
Chairperson of the Government of the Republic of Kalmykia, Oleg Knyazev, Vice
Governor - Chairman of Astrakhan Oblast Government.
In
total, over 19,000 persons (about five thousand applications) participated in
the 2023 CPC to Talented Children festival. Young participants and teachers
competed in seven categories: "choreography", "instrumental
performance", "vocal", "choir", "theater",
"social video" and "pedagogical workshop". 
On
the eve of the gala concert, the winners of regional stages of the contest
together with their tutors took part in master classes arranged by teachers
from leading Moscow universities, actors of the capital’s theaters and
well-known people of art. Master classes were held at the Tchaikovsky Moscow
State Conservatory, the theater of the Alexandrov Russian Army Song and Dance
Ensemble and other venues. Young guests of the Moscow Forum also received an
opportunity of seeing the sight of the capital and participate in excursions
and cultural programs.

opens the way to the big stage for young talents from the host regions of
Caspian Pipeline Consortium”, - noted in his welcome speech to the winners CPC
General Director Nikolay Gorban. – “Surprisingly,
now the children of the children of those who took the stage at our very first
festivals participate in the festival. Such continuity of generations says, first of
all, that the CPC to Talented Children contest has taken deep roots over 25
years and has become an integral part of cultural life, an expected and joyful
event for everybody".
