Specialized
vehicles and musical equipment purchased by Caspian Pipeline Consortium as part
of the 2023 charity program were handed over in Astrakhan on 25th December. The
ceremony to hand over the keys and certificates was attended by Mikhail
Grishankov, Deputy General Director, Russian Federation Government Relations,
Oleg Knyazev, Vice Governor - Chairman of Astrakhan Oblast Government, Denis
Afanasiev, Deputy Chairman of Astrakhan Oblast Government, Oleg Polumordvinov,
Head of Astrakhan City Okrug Municipality.
The
Consortium purchased two KDM-7881010 combined road machines based on a
KAMAZ-6520 dump truck and one Tornado-350 trailed shredder for Chisty Gorod
(Clean City) - Astrakhan municipal budgetary entity. The specialized vehicles are designed for
all-season cleaning of streets and other territories, prompt response of
municipal utility agencies to climatic emergencies, they have state
registration plates and flashing emergency beacons.
The combined
road vehicles equipment includes a sand spreader (also designed for applying
salt and de-icing agents to the road surface), plow equipment with hydraulic
rotary moldboard, sweeping brush with hydraulic drive, high-pressure equipment
for washing and watering.
Trailed
drum-type shredder with diesel drive is designed for quick processing of wood
and shrub vegetation when clearing the territory from cuttings, during
landscaping and gardening work, crowning, maintenance of the right-of-way along
highways and power lines. The engine power (149
h.p.) and dimensions of the loading window allow processing of small and medium
diameter trees.
The cost of
each combined road vehicle is 15.6 mln rubles, that of the trailed shredder -
5.65 mln rubles.
The State
Budgetary Vocational Educational Institution "Astrakhan Music College
named after M.P. Musorgsky" received a set of musical instruments with a
total value of over 1.4 mln rubles as a gift from CPC. The set includes an electronic drum kit, a
5-string bass guitar, a 6-string electric guitar (solo and rhythm), a clarinet,
a double bass, a 9- and 12-string psaltery, two double-row harmonies, and a
backup set of strings. High-quality instruments for performing folk, classical
and pop music will help college students improve their professional skills,
believe in their abilities and maximize their talent.
The active
interaction between Astrakhan Oblast and the crude pipeline company is
developing under the Agreement on social and economic cooperation signed in
2019. The document covers all socially significant spheres of the Oblast life -
health care, education, culture, children’s sports, and provides for a targeted
aid to the most vulnerable population. The Cultural and Aesthetic Center for
Children and Youth, the construction of which began in summer of 2023, is one
of the largest projects in this area.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major
investment projects with foreign capital in energy sector in the CIS. The
length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route transports
over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export crude, as well as crude from Russian
oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is
