
On 6 June 2024, a business meeting between CPC General Director Nikolay Gorban and Batu Khasikov, Head of the Republic of Kalmykia, was held at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2024). Gilyana Boskhomdzhiyeva, Chairperson of the Government of the Republic of Kalmykia, also participated in the meeting.
The meeting participants discussed implementation of charity projects. In particular, on the eve of the Day of the Republic, CPC will hand a bus to Kalmykia for the budgetary institution of additional education Uralan Republic Olympic Reserve Football Sports School and environmental equipment for the Blackland Reserve. Successful work of Kalmykia contractors in CPC international project became one of the topics of conversation.
It was noted, that in the beginning of July, a corporate event will be held for the second time in the capital of the Republic of Kalmykia aimed at improvement of leadership practices in development of CPC Safety Culture. The Consortium’s top managers and managers and specialists from all operation facilities will participate in the workshops.
CPC is currently interacting with the Republic of Kalmykia authorities under a five-year Cooperation Agreement signed in April 2022. The document covers all socially significant spheres of the Republic’s life - health care, education, culture, and children’s sports and also provides for a targeted aid to the most vulnerable population. Particular attention is paid to purification of tap water to drinking quality in children's educational institutions. In 2023, CPC allocated about 130 mln rubles to implementation of charity projects in the Republic.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major investment projects with foreign capital in energy sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil, and crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
