The second
absentia stage of the International Children's and Youth Creativity Contest
"CPC to Talented Children” is over. Of
4,565 participants who had applied for the first round of the contest, 2,502
soloists and ensembles advanced to the second round and applied, a 10% increase
from 2023. The increase in the number of participants in the second round,
according to the organizers, is due to the skill improvement of the performers
who attended the master classes of the contest experts.

applications were received from Stavropol Krai, Krasnodar Krai sent 646 pieces
of work and Novorossiysk - 415. 497 applications were received from Astrakhan
Oblast and 249 from the Republic of Kalmykia.
Instrumental
performance is leading in the categories. In total, 967 young instrumentalists,
pupils of children's music schools and art schools participated in the second
round. Vocal genres are also popular. The total number of such contestants is
771. The art of theater attracts kids with its depth of expression. 532
applications were submitted to the second round in the Theater and Declamation
category.
"The
introduction of a new "Reading a patriotic literary work” genre increased
the interest of participants of the theater direction, contributed to the
solution of educational objectives of the project, and a better understanding
of historical and cultural values of the country, which, of course, forms civic
responsibility and patriotic consciousness," - pointed out Victoria Rille,
Director of the Academy of Cultural and Educational Innovations and Contest
Administrator.
The members
of the expert council, which included outstanding teachers, directors, honored
artists of Russia, honorary figures of culture and arts, selected the best
participants who would come to the events of the third in-person regional stage
of the contest. Young talents will enjoy master classes by the contest's
experts in various categories, the winners will perform in gala concerts in
Astrakhan, Elista, Stavropol, Krasnodar and Novorossiysk. The most talented
will receive certificates for a trip to Moscow to the Moscow Meets Friend
international forum.

CPC to Talented Children Contest is conducted
annually at the Caspian Pipeline Consortium’s (CPC) initiative and financed by
its charity funds. The Independent Non-Profit Organization of additional
education called Academy of Cultural and Educational Innovations has been the
contest Administrator since 2021.
CPC Pipeline System is one of the major
investment projects with foreign capital in energy sector in the CIS. The
length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1 511 km. This route transports
over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil, and crude from Russian oil
fields, including those in the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped
with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a
significant distance offshore, also amid poor weather conditions.
