Oil Loading Started via SPM-2, SPM-3 Put Out for Scheduled Preventive Maintenance

On 29 July 2024, oil loading started via SPM-2 at CPC Marine Terminal. As a reminder: On 24 July 2024, the unit was put back into operation after the scheduled preventive maintenance. Before being loaded, the tanker was engaged in taking water used for hydro testing from SPM-2 loading lines.
On 28 July 2024, CPC proceeded to preparation of scheduled preventive maintenance on SPM-3: the subsea pipeline end manifold (PLEM) was closed and the SPM was taken out of service. On 29 July, the SPM was flushed with the help of a tanker later moored for loading at SPM-1.
It should be noted that 27 hoses (12 subsea and 15 floating ones) are to be replaced on SPM-3.  This operation will take approximately 60 days, weather permitting.
