As part of its 2024 charity program, Caspian Pipeline
Consortium purchased musical instruments for Astrakhan educational institution
and specialized vehicles for city and district public utilities. The ceremony
for handing keys and a certificate was held on 30 August 2024 in Astrakhan with
participation of Mikhail Grishankov, CPC Deputy General Director, Russian
Federation Government Relations, Astrakhan Oblast Governor Igor Babushkin and
Ilya Volynskiy, Minister of Industry, Commerce and Energy of Astrakhan Oblast.
Two pianos, a bayan and a marimba with a full set of
teaching materials for each instrument were handed to the State Budgetary
Vocational Educational Institution - Astrakhan Music College named after M.
Musorgsky.
In order to maintain water supply facilities in Liman
district in a normal condition, the Liman-Transport municipal public
institution received a versatile multi-functional wheeled excavator-loader.
The 4.2 cu. m tank trucks for food liquids were handed
over to the Unified Dispatch Service of Narimanovsky District, the Department
of Construction, Road Management and Housing and Public Utilities of the
Enotaevsky Municipal District Administration of Astrakhan Oblast, the
Department of Capital Construction, Municipal, Road Facilities and Ecology of
the Krasnoyarsky District Administration, and the Blagoustroystvo (Landscaping)
Municipal Public Institution of Kharabali City Municipality.
A scrap truck with a crane-manipulator on the basis of a dump
truck was purchased for the Astrakhan municipal budgetary institution “Clean
City”.
The total
value of the equipment and specialized vehicles donated to the budgetary
institutions amounted to approximately 50 million rubles.
CPC is
interacting with the Astrakhan Oblast authorities under a five-year Cooperation
Agreement signed in June 2024. The document covers all socially significant
spheres of the region life - health care, education, culture, children’s sports
and also provides for a targeted aid to the most vulnerable population.
The history
of cooperation between the Consortium and Astrakhan Oblast Government goes back
more than two decades. Supply of the state-of-the-art CT scanner worth
approximately 60 mln rubles to Alexandro-Mariinsky Oblast Clinical Hospital in
the beginning of 2023 should be noted as one of the current major projects
implemented by CPC. Thanks to CPC, at the end of 2023 - first half of 2024, the
material base of municipal services of the districts crossed by CPC trunk crude
pipeline route and the city of Astrakhan was strengthened with various modern
specialized vehicles for the total amount exceeding 60 million rubles. The most
significant charity project right now is the Cultural and Aesthetic Center for
Children and Youth, the construction of which started in summer 2023 in the
village of Yenotaevka.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major projects
in energy sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline
is 1,511 km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export
oil, and crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region.

allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore.
