Third Stage of CPC to Talented Children Contest Ended in Astrakhan Oblast

20240920.jpgOn 19 September 2024, a gala concert was held in Astrakhan Oblast to conclude the third in-person regional stage of the International Children's and Youth Art Contest - CPC to Talented Children. The large-scale event, held at the Astrakhan State Philharmonic Hall, was attended by Mikhail Grishankov, CPC-R Deputy General Director and Irina Mudraya, Deputy Minister of Education of Astrakhan Oblast.

120 young performers performed on the stage. CPC’s and the Region’s representatives awarded the winners, Grand Prix winners and winners of special prized of the third regional stage and also named the participants of the forthcoming International Unifying Cultural Forum - Moscow Meets Friends.

On the eve of the gala concert, the contest’s experts gave creative master classes on September 16 - 18. 160 people became its listeners. Maria Evseeva, director and head of the Moscow Children and Youth Theater “Nadezhda”; Anastasia Yarotskaya, choreographer and artistic director of the Yarko modern choreography school; Elena Lipaeva, singer, composer and vocal coach; Valeria Kuznetsova, pianist and teacher of the Iris school of arts; Maria Vlasova, associate professor of the bayan and accordion department of the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music, and Nikolay Ageyev, associate professor of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory. The educational program also included workshops on professional development of teachers of additional education.

The children's and youth's creativity contest "CPC to Talented Children" has been held for over 25 years. It was initiated by CPC-R JSC as part of the charity program to support children’s art. Having started as a local festival, the CPC to Talented Children contest has become an interethnic and international event uniting regions and countries, contributing to preserving folk traditions and motivating the young generation to develop and realize their creative abilities. Over 20,000 young talents participated in the project in 2024.
