The results
of the third in-person regional stage of the International Children's and Youth
Art Contest - CPC for Talented Children - were summarized in Krasnodar on 7
October 2024. A large-scale gala concert was held in the city philharmonic hall
where Mikhail Grishankov, CPC Deputy General Director, RF Government Relations,
and Anna Minkova, Deputy Governor of Krasnodar Krai, were the guests of
honor. In the course of the concert, the
winners, grand-prize and special prizes winners of the third regional stage
were announced, and the participants of the International Unifying Cultural
Forum - Moscow Meets Friends - were also named.
On the eve of
the gala concert, the contest’s experts gave creative master classes on 4-6
October. Nikolay Kozhin, a pianist, conductor
and teacher of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory; Tatiana Sharova,
Honored Artist, soloist of the State Chapel of Russia, teacher of the State
Institute named after M. Ippolitov-Ivanov; Alexander Koltsov, honorary worker
of arts of Moscow, actor of theater and cinema, singer, teacher of the GITIS
musical theater; Irina Dubakina, choreographer, teacher-ballet master of modern
trends at the VORTEX International Center of Contemporary Dance; Vadim Yevteev,
singer, composer, teacher, participant of the “Voice” project on Channel One;
Natalia Efimova, teacher of Russian dance and composition at the Moscow
Provincial College of Arts, shared their professional secrets with the young
talents. The educational program also included workshops on professional
development of teachers.
In 2024, the
Krasnodar Krai participants demonstrated a high level of performing skills. 97
culture and educational institutions from 47 region’s settlements participated
in the festival. Over a thousand children and teenagers competed in a creative
contest, unlocking their talents and discovering new facets of their abilities.
The
children's and youth's creativity contest "CPC for Talented Children"
has been held for over 25 years. It was launched by CPC-R as part of the charity
program to support children’s artwork. Having started as a local festival, the
CPC for Talented Children contest has become a cross-national and international
event uniting regions and countries, contributing to the preservation of folk
customs and motivating the young generation to develop and fulfill their
creative abilities. Over 20,000 young talents participated in the project in
2024.
