Business Meeting between CPC’s and Krasnodar Krai’s Heads

PA6A8439.JPGA business meeting between Nikolay Gorban, General Director of Caspian Pipeline Consortium, and Veniamin Kondratyev, Krasnodar Krai Administration Head (Governor), was held in Krasnodar on 30 October 2024. The parties discussed the matters of CPC’s and Region’s interaction in the course of implementation of the Cooperation Agreement signed in 2022 for five years. 
According to the document, CPC is engaged in implementation of charity projects and programs in Krasnodar Krai municipalities crossed by the crude pipeline route in such priority spheres as education, health care, support to children’s sports, culture, ecology.

PA6A8422.JPGIn addition, the Region’s Head and CPC General Director discussed the aspects of cooperation between the Krai entities and companies in transportation of hydro carbon recourses, the implementation progress of programs of the Consortium’s facilities upgrade in Kuban region and the results of CPC social and charity activities in the Region.
The Governor highly appreciated CPC’s contribution to the development of the Region’s social infrastructure and support to municipal institutions, specifically to those located in the rural areas.

PA6A8452.JPGambulances, 12 passenger and tourist buses, 6 units of specializedvehicles, medical equipment for Krai and district hospitals and polyclinics for the total amount of over 200 million rubles, four buildings have been constructed for health care institutions.

In 2023 alone, Caspian Pipeline Consortium allocated over 235 million rubles to social purposes in Krasnodar Krai. It is expected that by the end of 2024 the volume of charitable aid to the Krai will exceed 275 million rubles. Construction of the Cultural and Aesthetic Center for Children and Youth in Yuzhnaya Ozereevka village is to be completed in 2025. The project is worth almost 540 million rubles. 
Traditional charity programs - CPC to first-year schoolchildren, New Year and Christmas holidays together with CPC - are being implemented on a permanent basis. 
CPC is also among the three major taxpayers in Kuban region. According to the forecast, tax revenues from the Consortium’s operation in the Krai will amount to 22.7 billion rubles in 2024.  The regional budget will receive about 11.7 billion rubles of this amount and the federal budget - almost 11 billion rubles.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major projects in energy sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil, and crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore.
A nearly 300-kilometer section of the crude pipeline crosses the territory of Krasnodar Krai, with three pump stations (Kropotkin PS, PS-7 and PS-8) maintaining operating pressure in the system. The largest operation facility of the Tengiz - Novorossiysk pipeline system - Marine Terminal - is also located there.  Last year, it lifted record 63.5 million tons of oil in the Company's history.
