Business Meeting between CPC and Atyrau Oblast Heads

A business meeting between Serik Shapkenob, Atyrau Oblast Akim, and Nikolay Gorban, CPC General Director, was held on 5 November in Atyrau. 
The parties discussed topical issues of social and charitable activities of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium in Atyrau Oblast. 
As a reminder: construction of a new school is virtually completed in Talgairan neighborhood area. The project implementation started in 2022 thanks to the charity aid of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.
The need for a new educational institution was due to the rapid rate of growth of the Talgairan neighborhood area.
The total area of the new school is three hectares, it is designed for 900 pupils. The school will have a medical station, two gymnasiums, a school hall for 210 seats and a canteen for 312 seats.
Great attention was paid to the improvement of the school territory: a stadium with a soccer field and a running track, a sports ground for volleyball, a zone with fitness equipment, a tennis court, and areas for initial military training were arranged there. There is also a parking lot for school buses and personal vehicles, including those designed for persons with disabilities.
According to the construction plan, the school is divided into three units: for primary, middle, and upper school. 
The building hosts two libraries with reading rooms. The classes are furnished with modern educational and multimedia equipment.
The construction and finishing work is at the final stage. 
The Consortium has four facilities in Atyrau Oblast, Republic of Kazakhstan: Tengiz PS, Atyrau PS, Isatai PS and Kurmangazy PS.
CPC charity program has been implemented in the Oblast since 2000. Annually, the Consortium allocates over three million dollars towards charity projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In total, from 2001 to 2023, the Company invested approximately 14 billion tenge in charity projects in Atyrau Oblast.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major projects in energy sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil, and crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore.
