CPC Supported Astrakhan Oblast Rural Districts

202411063.jpgOn 6 November 2024, in Astrakhan, CPC handed over tank trucks to four districts of the Oblast. Mikhail Grishankov, CPC Deputy General Director, and Denis Afanasyev, Vice Governor - Chairman of Astrakhan Oblast Government, participated in the key handover ceremony.
Municipal institutions of Kharabalinsky, Narimanovsky, Limansky and Enotaevsky districts received tank trucks for drinking water delivery with a capacity of 4.2 cu. m on Russian-made chassis. The total value of the implemented charity project amounted to almost 23 million rubles.
In Kharabalinsky district, the donated vehicles will help to solve drinking water supply problems in nine rural settlements located in Volga-Akhtuba floodplain with population of almost 10,000 people. The need for transportation of quality water becomes particularly urgent during annual floods.
In Narimanovsky district, drinking water delivery is needed for two villages and a settlement with a total of 3,500 people. The specialized vehicle fleet works extremely hard during the summer heat, when the water intake source mirror drops to low levels.
Specialized vehicles from CPC will help to solve drinking water supply also in 12 settlements of Limansky district equipped with technical water supply systems. Water delivery by cisterns is actively used here during periods of low water.202411062.jpg

Yenotayevsky district of Astrakhan Oblast stretches for 150 km. There, drinking water will be supplied to 16 settlements located at significant distance from each other.
As a reminder: in August 2024, CPC already handed over specialized vehicles for the Oblast city and district utility companies. In particular, tank trucks with a capacity of 4.2 cu. m were handed over to Narimanovsky, Enotaevsky, Krasnoyarsky and Kharabalinsky districts.
The history of cooperation between the Consortium and Astrakhan Oblast Government goes back more than two decades. The interaction is currently being carried out under a five-year Cooperation Agreement signed in June 2024. The document covers all socially significant spheres of the Region’s life - health care, education, culture, children’s sports and also provides for a targeted aid to the most vulnerable population.
