First Stage of CPC for Talented Children Competition 2025 - Wings of Victory Contest Begins

The International Contest of Children and Youth Art “CPC for Talented Children 2025 - Wings of Victory” will be open for participation applications starting from March 1, 2025. Creative teams from Stavropol Krai, Krasnodar Krai, the Republic of Kalmykia and Astrakhan Oblast are invited to participate. Video entries from solo performers and creative teams are accepted at www.ktk-talant.ru.

Caspian Pipeline Consortium holds “CPC for Talented Children” contests every year to support creative children and youth, develop their performance skills, and promote love of arts. In 2025, the contest will be timed with the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War and will be held under the name “CPC for Talented Children 2025 - Wings of Victory”.

There are six contest nominations this year: Choreography, Instrumental Performance, Vocal, Chorus, Theater, and a new Creative Media nomination. Contest participants may try their skills in 30 different directions within the above nominations.

The new Creative Media nomination, wherein young contestants may present their works in the Social Ad, Short Feature, Podcast and Reporting, aims at promoting socially responsible thinking among young people, as well as at fostering moral values and developing media communication skills that are so crucial in the modern world.

The works of the participants will be evaluated by an expert jury comprising qualified and experienced specialists, teachers of creative teams, directors, outstanding culture workers and artists, and Honored Artists of the Russian Federation.

In addition to creative performances, the contest will feature a large-scale educational program - the contestants will take part in round tables, creative meetings and master classes from leading artists. The educational program of the contest will be expanded significantly in 2025. Advanced training webinars with the corresponding e-certificates will be organized for teachers and heads of children’s creative teams for the first time as part of the contest. The new educational platform will become a powerful tool for professional growth of teachers, which, in turn, will positively influence children’s success and creative development.  This is also a wonderful opportunity for exchange of experience, discussion of topical issues, and implementation of contemporary approaches to teaching and upbringing through art.

The contest geography covers the Republic of Kalmykia, Astrakhan Oblast, Stavropol Krai and Krasnodar Krai. Solo performers aged 7 to 17 may take part in the contest, as well as children and youth creative teams of that age.

“Our contest is not simply a competition, but the path to self-expression and self-fulfillment for each participant”, - noted Nikolay Gorban, CPC General Director. “We host thousands of young talents every year, and we arrange a true celebration of creative arts for them. In 2025, paying tribute to great feats, we want our contestants to fully embrace, through creativity and art, the importance of patriotic values, intergenerational continuity, and preservation of historical memory”.

The contest is traditionally held in four stages:

1.     Absentee contest-examination, whereto participants remotely send their works to be evaluated by a professional jury.

2.     Remote stage, where contestants present their new works in the same nomination and genre.

3.     In-person regional stage with contest performances, education program, master classes, and creative meetings.

4.     International Unifying Cultural Forum, which will bring together the best contestants. Final performances, master classes, an award ceremony and a final Gala Concert await them.

All contest participants will be awarded with various diplomas in accordance with the jury’s scores.
