CPC guarantees efficient and environmentally safe movement of crude oil

The Consortium’s Head informed the Minister of CPC performance results in 2024 and on the Company’s near-term operation plans.

The parties discussed international cooperation on the Caspian Pipeline Consortium Project and the stability of CPC tax and other obligatory payments to the Republic of Kazakhstan budget.

In 2024, CPC-K paid taxes of around USD 85 million. Dividends to CPC-K Shareholders amounted to USD 188.2 million in the same period.

The Consortium continues active implementation of social projects in Kazakhstan. CPC-K allocated KZT 4.4 billion towards charity projects in 2024. One of the recently completed landmark projects is the construction of a 900-seat school in the Talgairan micro-district, Atyrau. In 2025, the Consortium plans to hand over equipment for local hospitals, purchase ambulances and a school bus. Furthermore, construction of the Youth House in Atyrau, financed by CPC charity funds, will start next year.

It is worth mentioning that CPC has been investing annually KZT 1.3 billion (equivalent to USD 3 million) in Atyrau Oblast social infrastructure since 2000.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major projects in energy sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil, and crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore.
