The meeting participants discussed CPC’s interaction with the Republic of Kalmykia authorities under a five-year Cooperation Agreement signed in April 2022. The document covers all socially significant spheres of the Oblast’s life - health care, education, culture, children’s sports and also provides for a targeted aid to the most vulnerable population. 
Particular attention is paid to purification of tap water to drinking quality in children's educational institutions. Thus, just at the end of 2024, CPC purchased four tanker trucks for the Iki-Burulsky and Chernozemelsky districts. The specialized motor vehicles are intended for stable supply of drinking water to the residents of the Iki-Burulsky district, Achinera, Artesian, Burovoi settlements of Chernozemelsky district. In total, the Consortium allocated 157 million rubles to charity projects in the republic last year. Tax proceeds from the Consortium to the consolidated budget of the Republic of Kalmykia totaled over 3.18 billion rubles in 2024.111А.jpg

Kalmykia is crossed by a 200 km segment of the CPC oil pipeline, with three oil pump stations located in the republic: Komsomolsk PS, PS-2, and PS-3.
This year, the Republic of Kalmykia will host a major corporate events, the CPC Safety Day, to be attended by CPC representatives, contractors, and the international consortium's shareholders.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major projects in energy sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil, and crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPMs) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore.
