
A special vehicle purchased by Caspian Pipeline Consortium under its 2025 charity program was handed over to the Limansky Municipal District in the Astrakhan Region on 21 August 2025. A keys handover ceremony was attended by Mikhail Grishankov, CPC Deputy General Director, Russian Federation Government Relations, and Konstantin Chernikov, Head of the Municipal District.
The dump truck with sand-spraying equipment in the back and a front blade was made available to the municipal state-owned organization “The Limansky District Unified Duty Dispatcher Service”. The vehicle will be used for site improvements and maintaining roads and utilities in good condition. The vehicle cost is almost 9 million rubles.
CPC is cooperating with the Astrakhan Region Government under a five-year Cooperation Agreement signed in June 2024. The document covers all socially significant spheres of the Region’s life: health care, education, culture, children’s sports, ecology and also provides for a targeted aid to the most vulnerable population. In 2024, CPC-R’s social program in Astrakhan Oblast exceeded 160 million rubles. Tax proceeds from the Consortium to the consolidated budget of the Astrakhan Oblast totaled over 4.5 billion rubles in 2024.
Almost 300 km long section of CPC trunk pipeline crosses Astrakhan Oblast territory, system pressure is maintained by three pump stations with Astrakhan PS being the largest one.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major projects in energy sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil, and crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region.
