
Nikolay Gorban, CPC General Director, and Askhat Khassenov, NC KazMunaiGas JSC (KMG) Chairman of the Management Board, had a business meeting on December 9, 2025 in Astana.
Consortium’s CEO informed KMG Head that CPC team and contractors are currently working at the Marine Terminal (MT) to replace hoses on the Single Point Mooring - SPM CPC-3.

The Parties emphasized the important role of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium in ensuring the energy security and stability of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as in developing economic cooperation between the countries.
Following the meeting, the Parties also confirmed their mutual readiness for further constructive cooperation and implementation of joint projects aimed at ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the Tengiz-Novorossiysk crude oil pipeline.

CPC Pipeline System is one of the major projects in energy sector in the CIS. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km. This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil, and crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region. CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore.
