Pursuant to Russian Federation President Resolution #468-rp ‘On awards’ dd. 02/12/2025, Pavel Moskatov, Chief Engineer, Operations and Maintenance, CPC Western Region and Sergey Potryasov, Regional Operations Division Head (Regional Manager), CPC Western Region, in recognition of their contribution to the development of fuel and energy industry, and long-standing diligent work, received Letters of Award of the President of the Russian Federation. Nikolay Gorban, CPC General Director presented the RF state awards on December 19, 2025. 

retouch_2025121912533222.jpgPavel Moskatov has 31 years of service in the fuel and energy complex oil and gas sector. His record of employment with CPC is 24 years. Pavel Georgievich worked his way up from an instrumentation technician to APCS Service Head at Transneft. Prior to taking the position of the CPC Western Region Chief Engineer, Mr. Moskatov worked as an instrumentation technician, PS Kropotkinskaya Shift Supervisor, OCC Dispatcher, PS Kropotkinskaya Deputy Manager, and PS-8 Manager. 
Mr. Moskatov’s in-depth knowledge of all operation processes being implemented along the length of the 1511-kilometer oil pipeline from Tengiz to Novorossiysk, his long-standing expertise of ensuring stable operation of oil transportation systems, his presence at site and line facilities requiring consideration, have effectively promoted reliability of the CPC pipeline system.

Mr. Potryasov has been employed with CPC for 12 years.  Prior to joining a key regional unit for CPC operations, Sergey Aleksandrovich, a descendant from a family line of Tatarstan oilmen, held a position of a well survey technician, senior engineer of an oil production shop, oil field manager, head of a centralized engineer and technician service, chief engineer of a division, head of operations division, chief engineer – first deputy General Director with a number of companies, such as Komineft JSC, LUKOIL-Komi LLC, RUSVIETPETRO LLC, and also served as Deputy Minister for Industry and Energy of the Komi Republic.
It is his extensive manager’s expertise and his capability of leading the team make Sergey Potryasov a unique and successful problem solver and the regional team under his supervision, an almost annual leader and an exemplary team for other structural units of CPC.

CPC Crude Oil Pipeline System is one of the major projects in CIS energy sector. The length of the Tengiz – Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,511 km.
This route transports over two-thirds of all Kazakhstan export oil, and crude from Russian oil fields, including those in the Caspian Region.
CPC Marine Terminal is equipped with three Single Point Moorings (SPM) that allow to load tankers safely at a significant distance offshore.
